Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Sylhet, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Friday), according to the Met Office.
Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during early morning.
Night temperature may rise by (1-2)°C and day temperature may fall slightly over the country.
The highest temperature in the country on Thursday was recorded at 34.0 degrees Celsius in Mongla while the lowest temperature at 15.6 degrees in Rajarhat.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 31.6 degrees Celsius on Thursday and the lowest was 22.2 degrees.
