Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Thursday), according to the Met Office.
Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Sylhet division.
The highest temperature in the country on Wednesday was recorded at 38.4 degrees Celsius in Sayedpur while the lowest temperature at 24.4 degrees in Tetulia. The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 35.3 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and the lowest was 27.8 degrees.
