Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions until 6:00 pm today (Thursday), according to the Met Office.
The highest temperature in the country on Wednesday was recorded at 36.5 degrees Celsius in Chuadanga, while the lowest temperature 22.8 degrees Celsius in Tangail.
