Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at most places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Friday), according to the Met Office.
It may also occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls.
The highest temperature in the country on Thursday was recorded at 30.0 degrees Celsius in Sayedpur, while the lowest temperature at 22.0 degrees in Sylhet.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 32.4 degrees Celsius on Thursday and the lowest was 24.2 degrees.
