Rain/thunder showers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Friday), according to the Met Office. Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere.
Mild to moderate heat wave may sweep over Rajshahi division and the districts of Tangail, Manikgonj, Dinajpur, Jashore and Chuadanga.
The highest temperature was recorded at 39.0 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi, while the lowest at 21.0 degrees in Dimla. The sun sets in the city today at 06:25 pm and rises tomorrow at 05:29 am.
