Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions and the regions of Jashore and Kushtia in the next 24 hours till 6pm today (Tuesday), reports UNB.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, Met Office said.
Mild heat wave is sweeping over Rangamati, Cox's Bazar, Kutubdia and Teknaf.
Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Country's highest temperature 37.6 degrees Celsius was recorded on Monday in Teknaf and the lowest19.0 degrees in Kumarkhali.
The highest temperature recorded in Dhaka on Monday was 34.5 degrees Celsius while the lowest 22.7 degrees.
The sun sets in the capital today (Tuesday) at 6:23pm and rises on Wednesday at 5:30am.
