Weather may remain dry

Weather may remain almost dry in Dhaka and elsewhere across the country today (Sunday), the Met office said in a weather forecast on Saturday.
It also said rain may occur only at a few places of Chattogram, Khulna, Barisal and Sylhet divisions while day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
On Saturday, the city witnessed a rise in temperature, with almost no rain until 6:00pm.
The maximum temperature recorded in Dhaka city on the day was 35.7 degrees Celsius, according to the Met office.
The country's highest temperature of 36.6 degrees Celsius was recorded in both Mymensingh and Chandpur and the minimum temperature of 22.5 degrees in Tentulia on the day, it said.
The country's highest rainfall of 34 mm was recorded in both Cox's Bazar and Kutubdia on Saturday.
The sun sets in Dhaka at 5:29pm today (Sunday) and will rise at 5:58 am tomorrow (Monday).
