Weeklong Baishakhi Fair begins at Agora

A Baishakhi Fair got underway at Agora, country's first and largest chain superstore, to welcome the Bangla New Year, said a press release.
Niaz Rahim, managing director of Rahimafrooz Superstores Ltd, owning company of Agora, inaugurated the fair at Agora's Dhanmondi outlet at Rifles Square. Invited guests, Agora store manager Md Faizul Haque Ronny and a large number of shoppers were present on the occasion.
During the fair, Bangali traditional food items such as cakes, moa, murki, khoi, doi, batasa, kodma, muruli, naru, sandesh, papri, halua, putul misti, nimki, jhuri bhaja, morabba, papor pitha, popcorn moa, laddu, etc will be available at all the four Agora outlets at discounted rates.
Apart from that, Agora is offering huge discount in the price of Hilsha on the occasion of the Pahela Baishakh.
