Weeklong booster drive from Jun 4

Bangladesh will hold another nationwide COVID-19 vaccine booster campaign from Jun 4 to 10, report agencies.
Adults who got their second vaccine shot four months ago will be allowed to receive a booster during this special campaign, the Directorate General of Health Services said on Tuesday.
The booster doses will be administered to people at all vaccination centres across the country from 9 am during the weeklong campaign. Vaccine seekers will have to carry vaccination cards.
The usual vaccination drive will also continue simultaneously, according to the health directorate.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh registered 26 new Covid cases in 24 hours till Tuesday taking the country's total caseload to 1,953,507, health authorities said.
The country's total fatalities remained unchanged at 29,131 as no death was reported during the period, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The country on Monday saw one Covid-linked death with 34 cases.
The daily test positivity rate slightly dropped to 0.61 percent from Tuesday's 0.63 percent as 4,198 samples were tested, according to the DGHS.
Globally the overall number of Covid cases has now crossed 532 million amid a rise in new infections in parts of the world.
According to the latest global data, the total case count mounted to 532,003,819 while the death toll from the virus reached 6,311,880 on Tuesday morning.
