Well-known Pak journo injured in gun attack

Motorcycle-borne unknown gunmen opened fire on well-known Pakistani TV journalist Hamid Mir in Karachi on Saturday, media reports say, reports bdnews24.com.
The gunmen opened fire on his vehicle at Sharae Faisal near Natha Khan area around 5:30pm (local time), reports The Dawn.
Mir, the senior reporter and television anchorperson with Geo News, was on his way to his office from the airport when he was attacked.
Mir was taken to a private hospital for emergency treatment. The journalist received two gunshots and was taken to the hospital in a state of unconsciousness.
Mir is now reported to have regained consciousness and he is stated to be out of danger.
In a message, President Mamnoon Hussain condemned the attack and expressed sorrow for the incident.
Social media also exploded with messages of condemnation.
