Western Marine to build pilot vessel for CPA

CHITTAGONG, Dec 13: The New Western Marine Ship Builders, a local ship builder has won a contract to build a pilot vessel for Chittagong Port at a cost of Tk 114.1 million, concerned sources said.
The vessel, to be built for pilot traffic, will be handed over to the CPA by December, 2010. An agreement in this regard was signed yesterday. Md Shakhawat Hossain, MD of the New Western Marine and the CPA chairman commodore RU Ahmed signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
