Westin Dhaka's CSR efforts lauded

On the occasion of the Holy and auspicious month of Rabi-ul-Awal, the Institute of Hazrat Mohammad (SAW) as part of its regular annual programs organised an essay competition for the visually impaired students of its English language and computer skills training class and various other schools and colleges in Dhaka city.

To commemorate the birth of Hazrat Mohammad (SAW) and his endeavours for establishing peace through social justice the topic of the essay competition were "Universal message of Prophet Mohammad (SAW)", said a press release.

A prize distribution ceremony of the annual competition was held in collaboration with The Westin Dhaka at the hotel's grand ball room Tuesday.

Mr. Golam Qauder, Minister for Civil Aviation & Tourism, Govt. of Bangladesh, attended the event as the Chief Guest.

The august gathering of special guests represented eminent personalities from diplomatic missions, the government and various disciplines.

Mr. Golam Qauder in his speech congratulated the Institute and the Westin Hotels, Dhaka for taking such a bold initiative generating interest from so many valued quarters.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the President of the Institute M. Nooruddin Khan who thanked The Westin Dhaka for their generous contribution towards this event and making it successful it truly reflects their CSR efforts.
