White Cane Safety Day observed in dists

International White Cane Safety Day-2022 was observed in the districts on Saturday with the slogan "Digital Sadachari, Nirapodey Poth Choli", reports BSS.
In Sunamganj, a discussion was held in the Conference Room of the Deputy Commissioner on the occasion on Saturday morning. Deputy Commissioner Md Jahangir Hossain took part in the discussion as the chief guest with deputy director of district social services office Suchitra Rao in the chair. Additional Police Super Md Abu Syeid and Additional Deputy Commissioner Sheikh Mohiuddin spoke, among others. White canes were distributed among the visually impaired people in the meeting.
In Rajshahi, to mark the day, the Department of Social Services (DSS) and District Administration jointly hosted a meeting at the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Rajshahi on Saturday.
