Whither 'digital' Bangladesh?

The article "Creation of digital Bangladesh" was published in the FE on December 29, 2008, the day the parliament election was held in Bangladesh. We are going to pass one year. Have we progressed any way in making Bangladesh digital? When the article was written and published we did not know which party was coming to power. But it was a guideline for the nation to pursue science and technology.
What importance has the present government given to the subject? That is a big question. It is my request to highlight once again, through the columns of the FE, the points raised in the afore-mentioned article.
