Saturday, 8 December 2007
A record opening stand of 167 was not enough for Zimbabwe as Ruanko Morten helped the West Indies to a five-wicket win and a series-clinching 3-1 lead, reports BBC.
Zimbabwe got off to the best of starts thanks to openers Vusi Sibanda (96) and Hamilton Masakadza (80).
However, Jerome Taylor (5-48) tore through the middle order to restrict the hosts to a below-par 232-9.
West Indies 234 for 5 (Morton 79, Samuels 62, Bravo 41*) beat Zimbabwe 232 for 9 (Sibanda 96, Masakadza 80, Taylor 5-48) by five wickets.
