Wife arrested for killing husband

MAGURA, Dec 3 (UNB): Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested a housewife on Friday afternoon from the district town for killing her husband. The arrestee was identified as Nurjahan Begum, 35, wife of Billal Hossain, 45, of Sarshuna village in Salikha upazila. Salikha thana OC Shamsul Haque said on secret information a team led by DB OC Badruzzaman conducted a drive in the town and arrested Nurjahan while she was moving aimlessly. She was later handed over to the thana. Police said Nurjahan with the help of Sher Ali, Lal Mia and Yusuf Ali of the village slaughtered her husband Billal Hossain, 45.
