Wild elephants kill farmer in Bandarban

BANDARBAN, Aug 25 (BSS): A farmer was killed in an attack by wild elephants at Kadukhola village under Sualock union in Sadar upazila here in the early hours of today.
The victim was identified as Shamsul Alam, 65, of the same area.
Police and locals said a herd of wild elephants came from the hilly forests and suddenly attacked the village. During the attacked the elephants attacked Alam houses and trampled him to death.
The elephants also damaged huge crops field of the area. Police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue.
