Wine, beer seized from Ctg port

CHATTOGRAM, Feb 23: The law enforcement agencies seized wine and beer from a car and a CNG-run autorickshaw from the jetty area of Chattogram Port on Tuesday morning.
Sources in Chattogram Customs House said the law enforcers seized 209 bottles of beer and 24 bottles of whisky from a car and a baby taxi. Law enforcers also detained car driver Montu Chandra Das with a walkie-talkie and baby taxi driver Masud Rana in this connection.
The arrested were handed over to Chattogram Bandor thana. A case was filed by Assistant Revenue Officer of Chattogram Customs House Abdullah Al Masum with Bandor thana.
