WINGS event held

WINGS (Women in Need Group) recently organised a get together programme with the presence of the Board of Directors, Advisors of WINGS and renowned personalities and dignitaries of the country.
The event was held at Green Delta AIMS Tower. At the event, the activities and initiatives of WINGS were shared with the guests followed by a cultural programme. The theme song of WINGS -"Let's Make It Happen" was also launched at the event.
Square Group supported WINGS to publish WIN directory and also provided a Helpline for counseling women calling from across the country.
President of WINGS Farzana Chowdhury who is also the Managing Director and CEO of Green Delta Insurance Company Limited, gave an overview of WINGS activities at the event.Ann Barrows McConnell, Public Affairs Officer and Director, The American Center, Waseqa Ayesha Khan, Member, Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Account, were present as special guests. Selim R.F. Hussain, CEO & Managing Director, IDLC Finance Limited, Geeteara Safiya Choudhury, Chairperson, ADCOMM LTD were present at the event as Advisors of WINGS.
Mr. Abrar Anwar, Managing Director and CEO of Standard Chartered Bank Bangladeh and Mr. Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director and CEO of BRAC Bank are two other members of the advisory panel.
