Wish for the new year

Year 2014 has disappeared into infinity, leaving a trail of successes and failures, hopes and disappointments, and fulfilments and deprivation. There are a lot of things to remember, but there are also a lot of things that we would prefer to forget. At times we were beside with joy.

Year 2015 has dawned and as always we look forward to a period of joy, happiness and fulfilment through the year. It has always been a dwindling journey from bad to worse over the years, but we did not give up. We always kept our fingers crossed and expected the best things to happen. It was like hope against hope. Our hopes are always flying high regardless of reality on the ground. It hardly mattered for us if things transpired otherwise contrary to our expectations, and we kept on hoping. Every man has a warrior in him, who battles through trials and tribulations, drawbacks and limitations, and miseries and distresses.
We sincerely hope, the new year will bring for us some hopes to live for, some promises to look forward to and some positives for our personal and national life. At the same time, we shall request our leaders to stop squabbling with each other, fighting for each other's blood and designing each other's destruction.
I hope, good sense will prevail everywhere and we shall see peace and happiness, if not milk and honey, flowing across the country.
