Wishing success in Asia Cup

Bangladesh cricket team was in a purple patch at home ground, except the recent games against Sri Lanka, during the last three years. During this time, it displayed good performance in batting, bowling and fielding. The last Asia Cup was remarkable for Bangladesh as the team beat Sri Lanka and India. No one can forget the moment Shakib, Mushfiq and the other members of the Bangladesh team were weeping on the field after losing against Pakistan by two runs in the final match of the last Asia Cup. All the Bangladeshi supporters were also weeping in sympathy for the cricketers at the gallery instead of leaving the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
The cricket lovers of Bangladesh were optimistic about strong performance of the Bangladesh team against Sri Lanka in the recent matches. But their dream snuffed out due to some mistakes of fielders in the crucial moments. Poor fielding duirng the whole series was really disappointing. They could have won two T-20 and at least one ODI  matches of the series. Unfortunately, our cricketers learn very slowly from the mistakes in the previous matches compared to the players of other countries. Now, the advice or tips of the coach or the captain is falling flat on the cricketers. As a result, the rival teams are taking the advantage of sloppy fielding of the Bangladesh team.
Changing players frequently is another reason of the recent poor performance of the players. Catching practice of the Bangladesh cricket team is questionable compared to the other areas of cricket. Batsmen also throw away their wickets in crucial moments of the matches. As a result, Bangladesh team is unable to perform to its expected level.   
Bangladesh cricket team, even after achieving the Test status, hasn't improved much compared to the other Asian countries. It is true that the new addition in cricket, Afganistan, has improved a lot compared to our country.
In the present Asia Cup, the Bangladesh cricket team should come back with a rhythm and need to play with consistency for making another history in cricket. This is a great opportunity for our players. Bangladesh cricketers should take the advantage of playing at home ground and should be more watchful in all departments.
