Withdraw US troops

Wednesday, 11 May 2011

With Osama bin Laden killed and his dead body thrown in the Arabian sea by the US, it should now kindly withdraw all its troops from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq immediately for the sake of peace and stability in the region. We are terribly surprised and shocked at the way the dead body of Osama bin Laden was not buried in the grave and his dead body was thrown into the sea without a janaza and performing the Islamic rites. We are also at a loss to understand if the US intelligence is weaker and more inefficient than the Pakistan intelligence? Since September 11, 2001 the US asked Pakistan to join in her war against terrorism. The US sent army and intelligence personnel to many places in Pakistan. It made bombing raids, flew pilot-less, remote control planes and killed thousands of innocent Pakistanis. Why did the US fail to find out and catch Osama bin Laden earlier? Whose faults were these? Was it Pakistan's or US inefficiency and failure for the last ten years? We would request the members of the United Nation Security Council to look into the relevant matters and avoid such lapses and errors in future. Let us all talk about real peace, justice, freedom and democracy. O. H. Kabir Wari, Dhaka
