An inter-ministerial committee on 'political harassment" cases made the recommendation at its meeting held at the Home Ministry with State Minister for Law Quamrul Islam in the chair.
After the meeting, Quamrul told the reporters that a total of 320 cases were placed for review Tuesday. After scrutiny, the meeting decided to withdraw 68 cases while 188 more cases were denied consideration.
