RABINDRANATH Tagore's Amit Ray of his "Shesher Kabita" comes repeatedly in our mind when a speaker in this country in a grave voice says or writer in a scholarly article mentions that "Appropriate measures can resolve this problem or that issue".
Yes, appropriate actions can create appropriate circumstances to induce all concerned to act appropriately for producing appropriate results to take us all to the appropriate destination. But all these vague 'appropriates' mean "We shall catch the lark when the sky falls".
May I say, expound your ideas, dear speakers and writers, to make them clear and please convey unequivocally what you mean. Otherwise, your communications would be useless.
