NILPHAMARI, Oct 3 (UNB): Two people were arrested from Syedpur Upazila NCC bank premises along fake currency notes Friday.
The arrestees were identified as Khalequzzaman Choudhury (48) son of Badruzzaman Choudhury of village Bahagili in Kishoreganj Upazila and Mashiar Rahman, son of Badrul Alam of Alam Bidhita village in Gangachara Upazila of Rangpur district.
Police said acting on secret information they raided the bank premises and arrested them along with 44 fake notes of Taka 100 denomination in the afternoon.
Another report from Comilla adds: Police arrested a youth along with 4kgs of ganja from in front of a primary school near Mia Bazaar in Chouddagram Upazila Friday morning.
