Woman arrested over harassing a girl at Narsingdi rly station

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested on Monday a woman allegedly involved with harassing a girl at Narsindi Railway Station on May 18.
The arrestee was identified as Marzia Akter alias Shayla Akter alias Saima (60).
She is by profession a matchmaker and wife of Fayez Ahmad and lived in a rented house at Narsingdi sadar upazila intersection.
Director (Legal and Media wing) of RAB Khandaker Al Moin confirmed the development to the media on the day.
He said that RAB-11 had arrested her from her relative's house at Itakhola under Shibpur upazila in Narsingdi in the early hours of Monday.
Earlier, the district Detective Police with the help of the district administration arrested one person who was identified as Md Ismail Hossain (25).
He was later handed over to Bhoirab Police Station.
Later, he was sent to jail following the order by the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate of Narsingdi Mehnaz Siddique.
Following the court order, in-charge of Narsingdi Railway Police outpost Imaedul Jahedi filed the case at Boirab Railway Police Station implicating Marzia Akter, Md Ismail Hossain and some 8 -10 unidentified persons for their alleged involvement in connection with the incident.
It is to be mentioned that the girl, also a student of a private university, along with two young men (her friends) were waiting at platform No. one (1) at Narsingdi Railway station on the day of the incident.
