Woman arrested with Yaba

During an anti-crime operation, police arrested a woman with 2,200 pieces of Yaba tablets and 200 grams of heroin in Godagari Upazila headquarters in Rajshahi district on Sunday afternoon. The arrested was identified as Nadia Akter, 23, wife of Kaosar Ali of Jodgosai village in the upazila. Tipped off, a police team conducted drive in Godagari Degree College area at around 12.30 pm and arrested her with the contraband items. The detained woman along with her husband were involved in drug trafficking and business for long. A case was filed with Godagari Police Station, according to a news agency.
