Woman chocked to death in city

Some miscreants strangulated to death a woman and dumped her body in a secluded place in Khilkhet in Dhaka at sometimes between Thursday night and early Friday. The victim could not be identified. Locals found the body, aged around 23, near Road No. 3 in Nikunja area and informed police in the morning. Police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital for autopsy. Police said miscreants might have strangulated the woman to death before dumping the body there. Khilkhet Police OC Nazrul Islam said ‘She had black marks around her neck. She was probably left there after being choked to death,’ he added, according to a news agency.
