Woman dies from snakebite

A woman died after receiving a snakebite in Tanore Upazila headquarters in Rajshahi on Friday. The dead is Shamsun Nahar, 24, wife of Rezaul Islam of the area. Family members said a venomous snake bit Shamsun Nahar in leg when she was working in the kitchen around 10:00am. Later, she was rushed to the upazila health complex where doctors declared her dead, according to a news agency.
