Woman dies in crash

A woman was killed and four other people were injured as a bus crashed into an auto-rickshaw at Paglapir in Rangpur city on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Chandana Rani, 40, a housewife. Police and locals said the speeding bus hit the CNG-run auto-rickshaw coming from opposite direction on Rangpur-Dinajpur Highway, leaving auto-rickshaw passenger Rani dead on the spot and four other people injured. The injured were admitted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital, according to UNB.
