Thursday, 11 September 2014

CHITTAGONG, Sept 10 (UNB): A woman was slaughtered allegedly by her daughter-in-law at Barumchhara village in Anwara upazila early Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Sohagh Khatun, wife of Fazlul Haque of the village.
Police said Jasim Uddin, son of Fazlul Haque, married Naima Deen Liza barely three months back.
However, Jasim found no charm in the married life and started spending time visiting shrines which led to a marital discord between the couple. Hearing screams coming out from Fazlul's house on Wednesday, locals rushed in and found that Liza had slaughtered his mother-in-law.
