Woman killed by son

FARIDPUR, Sept 3 (UNB): A woman was killed allegedly by her son at Deuli village under Boalmari Upazila Saturday night.
Police said Surja Begum (55), went to sleep on the veranda at night but later family members found her body tied to her bed.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to the morgue for autopsy. They also arrested her son Ilias Hossain in this connection.
Police said a case was filed against Ilias for killing a widow of the village recently. Police suspected that Ilias strangled his mother to death to implicate the plaintiff of the widow murder case.
