Woman killed in Gaibandha road crash

A woman was killed and 17 other people were injured in a road crash at Bokchar in Gobindaganj Upazila in Gaibandha district on Sunday. The deceased could not be identified yet. Officer-in-charge of Gobindaganj highway police Masud Parvez said the accident took place on Dhaka-Rangpur highway around 7am when a Rangpur-bound microbus from Dhaka collided head-on with a bus coming from the opposite direction, leaving the woman dead on the spot and the 17 people injured. The injured were taken to local hospital, according to UNB.
