Woman killed in Magura road crash

A woman was killed in a road accident at Nijnanduali Paschimpara on the Sripur-Magura road under Sadar upazila of Magura district on Wednesday morning. The deceased was identified as Kajol Begum, 45, wife of Sukur Miah resident of the same area. Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Sadar police station Tohidur Rahman said the accident occurred when an auto tempo hit a rickshaw from opposite direction in the area at about 10am, leaving rickshaw passenger Kajol dead on the spot. Police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue. A case was filed in this connection, according to a news agency.
