Woman killed in Sirajganj road crash

A woman was crushed under the wheels of a pickup van near Dabirganj Bazar at Tarash upazila in Sirajganj on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Karimon Begum, 40, wife of Sambhu Mandal of Dabirganj village. Police said the pickup van hit Karimon while she was crossing the Hatikamrul-Banpara road around 09:30am, leaving her injured. Karimon died on way to a local hospital, according to UNB.
