Woman ‘murders’ mother-in-law in Pabna

PABNA, May 19 (UNB): A woman was hacked and strangled to death, allegedly by her daughter-in-law, at Monohorpur village in Sadar upazila on Saturday evening over a family feud.
The deceased was identified as Rosy Khatun, wife of Amin Uddin.
Victim's brother Idris Ali said that several relatives of her daughter-in-law Rukaiya visited her in the evening when her son was not at home.
Locals rushed to the house hearing screams and found Rosy's blood-stained body on the floor.
The injured was taken to Pabna General Hospital where doctors pronounced her dead.
Police arrested Rukaiya and three others, said Asaduzzaman, officer-in-charge of the Sadar Police Station.
