Woman set afire dies at DMCH

A housewife, who was injured in an arson attack allegedly by an acquaintance at her Mohammadpur residence in the city, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) early Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Krishna Kaberi Mondol (35) wife of Shitangshu Shekhor Biswas, a deputy director of Bangladesh Road Transport Authority. The BRTA officer and his daughters-Sruti Biswas (15), a class X student of Mohammadpur Preparatory School, and Aritry Biswas alias Aditiya-were also injured in the attack. —UNB
