Woman's throat-slit body found in Chuadanga

CHUADANGA, Oct 22 (UNB): The slit-throat body of a 30-year-old woman was recovered from an eggplant field in Damurhuda upazila of Chuadanga a day after she and her brother were abducted by some miscreants from their house on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Mim Khatun alias Marjina, daughter of late Arman Ali of Mohammadpur village under Darshana municipality of the upazila, and her injured brother was Alamgir Hossain (35).
Marjina used to live with her husband Suruj Miah at her father's house since the marriage.
Alamgir said his second wife filed a general diary against her sister Marjina as he beat her up.
Local ward councillor Enamul Kabir said miscreants picked the duo from their house around 8:00 pm. Their mother informed police of the matter.
Locals spotted the body lying in the eggplant field on Sunday morning.
