Women Div Cricket Khulna beat Ctg by 51 runs

Khulna Division notched their second win in the Meril Women Divisional Cricket League beating Chittagong Division by 51 runs at the Dhaka University ground Saturday in the city, reports UNB.
Coin-favoured Khulna Division batted first to score 191 for 9 in the stipulated 35 overs with number three Rumana Ahmed contributing 39 off 47 balls that featured six fours.
Salma Khatun 20, middle order Rifat Ara Moyna 20, Tahin Tahera not out 17 also contributed to make a handsome total. Champa Chakma took three wickets for 27 runs while Hasina Akhter two for 48 runs.
In reply, Chittagng Division were bundled out for just 140 in 32.5 overs in the face of some disciplined bowling by the opponents. Skipper Fatema Tuz Zohra topscored with 40 off 61 balls that featured four fours while opener Zerin Dastagir 34, Hasina Akhter 15 were the other notable scorers.
Rumana Ahmed did the major damage claiming four wickets for 23 runs while Monjila Khatun bagged three for nine runs.
