Women Scientists' Assoc holds AGM

An executive committee of Women Scientists' Association of Bangladesh (WSAB) was formed for two years with Prof Shahida Rafique, Prof Nazira Quraishi Kamal and Prof Hasin Azhari Anupama as its president, vice-president and general secretary respectively, said a press release.

The committee was formed at the annual general meeting (AGM) and seminar on "Human development index and status of women in Bangladesh" held in the city recently.

Prof Nurjahan Sarker presided over the function while Prof Ayesha Munim, Dept of Physics of Dhaka University was the chief guest.
