Women T20 World Cup begins

The main draw of men's World Twenty20, Super 10, is already underway after the conclusion of the qualifiers.
The women cricketers will initiate their thrilling contest for Twenty20 World Cup begins Sunday.
The women's T20 World Cup kicks off with Australia taking on New Zealand at Sylhet.
The Bangladeshi girls are debutants in the World Cup of cricket's shortest version.
The group stage matches of the competition will be held from March 23 to April 2 in the Sylhet Divisional Stadium.
The number of participating teams has swelled in the women's world event, as did the men's. There were eight teams contesting in the last edition, whereas there are ten this time.
The semi-finals and the final of the Women's T20 World Cup will take place at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur before the men's matches (men's semi-finals and final) on the same days.
Group A consists of Australia, champions twice in a row, New Zealand, South Africa, Pakistan and Ireland.
The hosts are placed in Group B, along with England, champions of the first edition of the competition, West Indies, India and Sri Lanka.
