Women\\\'s Cricket to begin Wednesday

The 14-team Metropolitan Women's Cricket League will begin Wednesday at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium (DCS) with Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club taking on Indira Road KC in the opener, reports UNB.
The 40-over-a-side league match will start at 9:30 am.
Three matches will be held on the second day.
Abahani Limited will face Orient Sporting Club at DCS; Dhaka Cricketers will play Ansar & VDP at BKSP ground 4 while Kalabagan KC will face Rayer Bazar AC at BKSP ground-2 Thursday.
Participating teams are Group A - Mohammedan SC, Dhaka Cricketers, Khelaghar SKS, Indira Road KC, Kalabagan KC, Ansar & VDP and Rayer Bazar AC.
Group B - Abahani Ltd, Dipali Jubo Sangha, BKSP, Jahurul Islam City CC, Urban Sports & Cultural Development, Gulshan Youth Club and Orient Sporting Club.
