Women\\\'s Football Championship starts today

The KFC National Women's Football Championship will kick off today (Wednesday), reports UNB.
In the opening day's matches, Gaibandha District will take on Joypurhat District at Rajshahi venue while Khagrachhari District will meet Noakhali District at Luxmipur venue. A record 44 district women's teams, split in six zones, are taking part in first phase knockout.
The six zonal champions of the first phase will join the defending champion Bangladesh Ansar and host district in the super eight, which will be split in two groups.
