Wood supplier's body recovered

Body of a man was recovered from a toilet of an under construction building in the city's Uttara area Monday. The dead was identified as Noni Gopal (38), a timber supplier and resident of Salimuddin Lane, Moddhya Badda. On information, the police recovered the body in hanging condition at House 12, Road-9, Section-6 at 9.00 am and sent it to DMCH for autopsy. Family sources said Noni had supplied timber for construction purpose of the building. From marks of wound in his body police suspected assailants beat him to death and left him hanging in the toilet. —UNB
