Work for preparing voters list to start in Barisal from Sept

BARISAL, Aug 3 (UNB): Barisal district election office will prepare voters list from September next.
District election officer Manirul Islam said an instruction letter sent by the Election Commission in this connection reached here recently.
For this work 30 assistant registration officers (ARO) for the 30 wards of Barisal City Corporation, 25 AROs for other five municipalities and one ARO for each union of the district have already been appointed, he said.
Selection of voter enumerators is going on and it will also be completed within third week of this month, he expressed the hope.
