'Work unitedly to build Sonar Bangla'

RANGPUR, Jan 10 (BSS): Vice-chancellor of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) Prof Dr Muhammad Abdul Jalil Miah Tuesday called upon all for working together in building Sonar Bangla as dreamt by Bangabandhu.
He was addressing a rally arranged in the university campus in observance of the 40th Homecoming Day of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as the chief guest.
He also put wreaths at the portrait of Father of the Nation and led a colorful procession participated by the teachers, students, officials and employees of the university.
Prof Miah said the process of building Bangabandhu's Sonar Bangla is not finished so far even after 40 years of Independence and the unfinished task must be completed through united efforts of all people including the young generations.
The VC suggested the people from all walks in the society to engage their all-out efforts in building a prosperous Sonar Bangla as dreamt by Bangabandhu to realize dreams of the martyrs of the War of Liberation.
