Worker dies at Ctg port's outer anchorage

CHATTOGRAM, May 9: A worker died today while unloading cargo at the outer anchorage of Chittagong port.
Md Shahin (33) slipped from MV Tanvir Tausif, a lightering vessel, while unloading bulk cargo from a mother vessel in the morning. Mother vessels that cannot berth in the port anchor at the outer anchorage for lightering cargo to the lighter vessels.
The body was sent to the Chattogram Medical College for autopsy. He was the son of Md Delwar Munshi.
