Worker dies at Ctg ship breaking yard

CHATTOGRAM, May 30: A worker of a ship breaking yard was killed and another was injured in an accident at Sitakunda in Chattogram on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Mohammed Shahab Uddin, a worker of Four Star Ship Breaking Yard and Recycling Industry Limited.
The injured person has been identified as Mosharaf Hossain, hailed from Noakhali. He was taken to a private hospital in the city.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sitakunda Police Station Tofael Ahamed said, "The accident took place at Four Star Ship Breaking Yard and Recycling Industry Limited in Kumira area of Sitakunda on Monday afternoon when the workers were cutting plates with gas. A worker was killed and another was injured in the accident."
