RAJSHAHI, Apr 11 (BSS): Referring to various problems and prospects in this field speakers at a discussion have underscored the need for creating congenial atmosphere for the working women for their more empowerment.
They viewed if the existing problems and other vulnerabilities were removed the womenfolk could become the driving force of development in different trades, vocations and income generations.
There is no alternative to create employment opportunities for trained women and strengthening industry linkage, they added.
They were addressing a daylong workshop titled "Enhancement of women participation in Technical and Vocational Education and Training" held at Rajshahi Women Polytechnic Institute (RWPI) in Rajshahi city yesterday.
