Works on voters' list preparation begins in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, Oct 22 (UNB): Work on preparing voters' list with photographs and identity (ID) cards started in the port city Monday.
Some 4,897 information collectors started working in 41 wards under 1,000 supervisors.
Information collection will continue until November 4 and the work of taking photographs of the voters will begin on November 5 in the metropolitan city.
The work on voters' registration and taking photographs will be done through 757 centres and ID cards will be distributed from January 1.
